Who We Are

Zimbabwe's Largest Women-Focused NGO

Women and Law in Southern Africa (WLSA) Zimbabwe started as a local chapter of a sub-regional network in 1989. Registered as a Private Voluntary Organization, WLSA challenges the law, instigates campaigns for change, and educates women and girls about their rights across six Southern African countries.

Action Research

Questioning and challenging the law through evidence-based, action-oriented research in the socio-legal field.

Advocacy & Lobbying

Instigating campaigns for changes in laws, policies, and plans of action at national and regional levels.

Regional & International Linkages

Networked across Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland, and Zambia for sustained regional impact.
